Why you need this contract
Social media work is the easiest service to dispute because the deliverable feels intangible. Clients sometimes ask for more posts than agreed, complain about engagement numbers that were never part of the scope, or argue that the work was not delivered even when the content went live.
This template fixes the deliverable in concrete monthly numbers, defines exactly what counts as a "post" or "story," and sets reporting obligations so the client sees the work being done without micromanaging it.
Account access is the other recurring dispute point. The contract is explicit about who owns the login, how access is granted (typically through Meta Business Manager or platform-specific delegation), and what happens to the client's account at the end of the engagement.
